About Me & My Work

I offer a unique style that will bring your shoot alive

Hello I'm Claudia, a Dorset based creative documentary photographer. My style is relaxed and honest, part documentary, part fine art with the ultimate goal of creating beautiful aesthetics that you'll love and that I am proud of; capturing all emotions of your day in an artistic and creative way. My approach to weddings may not be the same as every other photographer out there. It’s really important to get to know couples from the get go and make sure I am the right fit to work with you. This is why meeting up or having a phone chat before the big day is so important to me.

I have been photographing weddings for a number of years and I genuinely love what I do!

I became interested in Photography whilst studying Creative Direction at The London College of Fashion. I went on to study a Degree in Photojournalism at the University of The Arts London where I graduated with a First class honours. I have worked for a number of newspapers and magazines including several placements on the picture desk at the Sunday Times Magazine. My work has been printed both nationally and internationally. Most recently I have been assisting Rock and Roll Photographer, Steve Gullick.

To view a full and broad range of my portrait work, and to keep up to date with my latest work and newest projects, then follow me on instagram and Facebook where you will find a comprehensive feed of my images and work.

All my non-portrait work is available to purchase through my online shop. Please visit www.claudiajoanvye.com or contact me to enquire about professionally printed, framed artwork.
