" It is an illusion that photos are made with the camera.... they are made with the eye, heart and head."

- Henri Cartier- Bresson

Hello I'm Claudia, a Dorset based creative documentary photographer. My style is relaxed and honest, part documentary, part fine art with the ultimate goal of creating beautiful aesthetics that you love and that I am proud of; capturing all emotions of your day in an artistic and creative way. My approach to weddings may not be the same as every other photographer out there. It’s really important to get to know couples from the get go and make sure I am the right fit to work with you. This is why meeting up or having a phone chat before the big day is so important to me.

I have been photographing weddings for a number of years and I

genuinely love what I do!

I became interested in Photography whilst studying Creative Direction at The London College of Fashion. I went to study a Degree in Photojournalism at the University of The Arts London where I graduated with a First class honours. I have worked for a number of newspapers and magazines including several placements on the picture desk at the Sunday Times Magazine. My work has been printed both nationally and internationally. Most recently I have been assisting Rock and Roll Photographer, Steve Gullick.

I want your day to run as smoothly as possible, so that you can relax and not have to worry about what I am doing. I photograph in a completely relaxed yet professional way. For 90% of the day I work without interrupting you in an unobtrusive manner. I capture your day from all the little details to the emotions unfolding around you. I love working with couples who love to be adventurous, love to get romantic, and are getting married in a way that inspires them (not just because they were told to do so). You'll never find me in the way trying to be centre of attention. I don't run around telling people what to do, hauling flashes and umbrellas from room to room trying to 'set up' shots.  I  like to blend into the day while giving direction where it is needed, but ultimately I just want to create some magic and celebrate the two of you in a documentary, poetic and wildly romantic way.

I love to travel. One of my favourite things when I’m not photographing weddings is to explore places I’ve never been before {with my camera in hand of course} so you can imagine how much I love working with couples as their destination wedding photographer.

If you’re planning a wedding or elopement in a worldwide destination please get in touch I’d love to know more.

Please email me  & tell me all of your exciting plans!

As a guide, wedding photography starts from £1095 for all day coverage. Shorter coverage is also available.
